The VA Boston Health Care System will be holding a second Persian Gulf veteran's Reunion Day to conduct first time PGF registry
The VA Boston Health Care System will be holding a second Persian Gulf veteran's Reunion Day to conduct first time PGF registry physical exam and offer medical services to Gulf veterans who continue to have medical issues which they feel are related to their service in Southwest Aria. Some of the symptoms are frequent chronic headaches, joint pain, fatique, rashes, respiratory problems, memory problems, eye and muscle twitches and gastrointestinal problems. If you are a Gulf veteran and would like to sign up for this exam please contact the VA Boston Health Care System Persian Gulf Coordinator, Shirley Jackson, at 617-323-7700, ext. 6126.
V. A. Satellite Primary Health Care Clinic on Martha's Vineyard
The V. A. Satellite Primary Health Care Clinic is in place, but with a few problems, which are being worked out. Dr. Hoak is the doctor in charge, but working with him are Dr. Kendall, Dr. Laursen, Dr. Neider and Dr. Tsikitas. If you are being seen by any of these doctors, then you are covered. If not, then you must see Dr. Hoak. His phone number is 627-1044. If you have a problem with the system, please call Kevin Burchill at 693-0410 ex 487. He is the contract manager between VA and the hospital. ALL veterans must enroll with the VA and it can be done by coming into the County's Veterans Services office or calling Hank at 693-6887

TO ALL VETERANS, WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE LIBERATION OF FRANCE BETWEEN JUNE 6, 1944 and MAY 8, 1945
The Government of France and the Regional Council of Normandy has created a Commemorative Certificate to be presented to all veterans who participated in the Liberation of France between June 6, 1944 and May 8, 1945. A representative of the French Consulate from Boston will make the presentation. Applications are available from your Veterans' Agent.
Requirements include a copy of your Honorable Discharge stating somewhere on it that you participated in D-Day and/or the Battle of Normandy, or the Liberation of France. This is available to veterans of all branches of the service.
